Many opportunities are available to become part of our team and and actively contribute to provide hands on medical care, including:
Health care professionals including dentists, opticians, pharmacists, general practitioners and specialists in the fields of but not limited to paediatrics, ophthalmology, gynaecology.
Health care students, with some experience, wanting to increase their knowledge and experience working alongside medical professionals.
Young adults, planning to study health care, wanting to observe and gain experience in various medical fields…must be 19 and older.
Non-medical volunteers wanting to have once in a life time experience, willing to participate where needed including but not limited to: registering patients, security, counting pills, assisting with the filling of prescriptions.
Volunteers are expected to arrive before the first day of the camp and stay to the end of the camp. As part of a team, each individual takes on a role integral to the success of the camp. Late arrivals or early departures are strongly discouraged. A typical medical camp day lasts from nine until five.
